To celebrate the conclusion of this year’s WTSDA World Championship, we will have our One Family Sunday Picnic on Sunday July 19th. The picnic location will be at Six Flags Great America about 40 miles or 65 kilometers north of the hotel (1 Great America Parkway, Gurnee, IL 60031). Busing to the picnic will be available for an additional cost of $35 each.

2026 World Championship Boat Tour, After Championship Party, and Picnic @ Six Flags Great America
Six Flags Great America is a theme park with fun activities for everyone to enjoy. The park spans 300 acres or 1.2 square kilometers and is known as the “Thrill Capital of the Midwest”. It includes 61 different rides with 17 roller coasters, 44 places to eat, and endless excitement to create memories with your WTSDA family.
We will have a lunch all together at the group pavilion. Lunch is included with your registration. Lunch is from 1:30-3:00
The newest addition to the roller coasters at Six Flags Great America is called Wrath of Rakshasa. This ride is the steepest and most inverted dive coaster in the world with a 171 foot or 52 meter drop. You will reach speeds of 67 miles per hour or 107 kilometers per hour while you ride through a demon’s lair. See which of your WTSDA friends you can convince to ride it with you!
Other options include superhero rides like Batman:The Ride and Superman:Ultimate Flight, Goliath which is the fastest wooden roller coaster in the world, a collection of water rides, family friendly kiddie rides, and many many more.
